The Modest Beginnings of Jewish Yellow Plus

When I first had the idea to publish a Jewish Yellow Pages type directory, I had no idea what the response would be and what the needs of advertisers were. I just thought it would be a nice idea - no more and no less. While the site is still in its infancy, the idea has grown to great proportions and the response has been immensely thankful. People do not just need their address and business type published YET AGAIN on the WEB. They are looking for the personal touch, on two levels. The first level is that of appearance - they want picture, video and music files capability. So, we will give them that. But also, they want to be heard, to be known, to both their regular clients and to the outside world. Within a few months we will try to give them that as well. Methods for contacting clients without costly phone bills, non-intrusive methods for allowing clients to know about newly arrived merchandise, methods to discuss not only with clients their needs, but also with similar Jewish merchants around the world. All types of Jews are joining this site - and when I say all types - I mean all types. Secular, religious, right wing, left wing - Jews of all shapes and flavors - have expressed an interest in once again making contact and sharing experiences and expertise. I guess these days something is in the air. Jewish Yellow Plus is here to help on our own modest level to coordinate this need.
